The Artist in Me: Starry Night

Starry, starry night.
Paint your palette blue and grey,
Look out on a summer's day,
With eyes that know the darkness in my soul.
Shadows on the hills,
Sketch the trees and the daffodils,
Catch the breeze and the winter chills,
In colors on the snowy linen land...

Yes, this is an excerpt from Don McLean's song, Vincent. I knew that the song is about Vincent Van Gogh's life. What I didn't know was that there was a Van Gogh painting named "Starry Night"! Well, not until today. I've "accidentally" found out about this while I was trying to find a painting that I will include on my latest blog portion "The Artist in Me" wherein, I plan to post different kind of artworks. I've browsed Google and typed Van Gogh, and I was stunned to found out about the "Starry Night" painting.

To those of you who's also 'shocked' like me. Here's how the painting looks like.

  1. That's a good trivia. Actually im shocked to know that I can paint/draw better than Van Gogh. I guess he must be on shrooms when he painted this one.
