Nung nag-uusap nga kami nang mga officemates ko this morning during breakfast... Tinanong nila ako if sino ba ang bet ko... Sabi ko si Crystal... pero parang gusto ko na si Lee... As in... Parang nahi-hypnotize ako... Lalo na kapag tumatawa sya... ay panalo talaga! Sabi nga ni Addie... "You're torn between talent and looks.".. Well, I guess so... Heheheeh... Landi ko... Hahahahaha!

Scene: Umaga sa cube ni Melai.

Melai: Uy Tina, recorded ata ung kahapong episode nina Mo. Kasi sabi kanina ni Grace Lee na tinext daw sila nina Mojo Tuesday.. eh di ba Wednesday kahapon.. so taped nga.. tapos sabi pa nila si Mohan (Mo Twister) daw pala eh nasa Australia ngaun!

Tina: Oo nga ata.. kaya cguro hindi naglive sa ustream kahapon ung interview nila with Mocha. 

Melai: Alam mo, parang last or last, last week nakita ko dun sa website and twitter ni Mo na pupunta daw sya ng Australia. Nag-tweet sya dun kay... Teka... Kanino ba un (Melai recalling..) Ung si Drew Anellano! (I meant to say Arellano pero sabi ni Tina, Anellano daw ang dinig nya... Oh well papel... hehehe... baka Anellano nga.. hehehehe..)..

What The Heck!

I am continually missing documenting those relevant events in my life or if I did posted them it normally was days, weeks or even months delayed. And then suddenly I just realized that I have too many reasons for doing so - some valid and most (in my opinion and deep thinking) are not!

• Being too busy! - busy with work, with FB, with surfing the net, for tuning in to Melason fanpage (fine! I'm the jologs type!), for watching AI performances in YouTube in repetitive instances. Darn! Everybody's busy! Why not make a change and leave some time for my self to vent! Everybody needs to? Right?
• Being too emotional over a thing that just recently happened. - Well, the writer's current emotion affects his/her work. Why? Because I think emotion affects everyone's reaction to things or situations. I opted NOT to write anything - mostly if I'm angry, since I tended to be violent with words, just like how a painter can affect the mood in his canvass. (I tell you, I write better when I'm mad and I've written one in full straight english!) But then, I just realized that, "So what?? It's my blog and it's a reflection of what I feel.. It would definitely take or maybe lessen the intensity of my blog's content if I am feeling otherwise..." Of course, I will still continue to believe in responsible blogging though.
• Being the perfectionist and OC that I am! - Is being OC/perfectionist good or bad? Too much care on details and stuff (fonts, spacing, picture detailing, picture sizes, caps. God! I do not even decide what would be my "permanent" template for my multiply site... Geez!) My OC-ness and the perfectionist in me, as I noticed is hindering me to post my thoughts as soon as I have them. Since I want every post to be perfect and all, I tend to do them longer and most of the times, thinking that I'll be doing it longer makes me to delay writing them or worst, totally forgetting about writing about them. 
• Grammar conscious. - The usual. Related to being the perfectionist that I am. I'm doing edits and even re-edits, mostly if I saw the need for emphasis (using bold fonts and underline), misspelled words, capitalization, and other "good to have" stuffs. 
• Language preference. - If I were to choose, of course I do want to blog I want to blog in straight English. But then, I think and decided that I'll be writing my entries based on what language I feel to use during the time that I have the urge to write (Tagalog, English, French or Italian?? how I wish! hahahaha!).

Then, I just told myself after all the realizations, "What the heck! I'm blogging because I love doing it and because I love to keep track of every important and not-so-important things in my life. To hell with perfection , with grammar, with being too much into details (though I know I will really be struggling not to do this!). I'm going to write!"

Problems/Concerns:

 - I find the the pictures that I've loaded on my previous blog entries too small. I wanted to have it posted a bit bigger, exposing details and all.

 - I wanted to include videos and lyrics for my previous posts but I do not know how.

Inay Lorraine's Surprise Birthday Bash

April 23 marks the birthday of our beloved Inay Lorraine - ang aming dakilang mentor at ina-inahan sa office.. And we think that now is the best time to show her our love for her... HAPPY BIRTHDAY INAY! 

April 22: Surprise Birthday Prep:

April 22 AM: The "anaks" decided to have a surprise birthday party for Inay. We have gathered some inputs and came up with an initial plan. Buti na lang naka-leave si Inay so makakapag-meeting kami ng hindi masyadong halata... Hehehehe.. 

AR's: (as captured from Linda's email)

• Melai - presentation kay Inay (gandahan mo ha)
• Icey - baloons - konti lang (5pcs puede na)
• Cake - 2 pcs 1060pesos - bake and churn (strawberry and ??) c/o Erick
• Coke - 4pcs c/o Luz
• Room 207 c/o Nino (10AM start)

Additional activities: 

• We then decided to add flowers to the list and initially thought of having the guys dance with Inay during the initial portion of the celebration. 
• We requested Chai to call Tatay Ed (ang butihing mister ni Inay) to check with him on Inay's favorite flower. Tatay Ed told us na sya na daw ang bahala dun. And then we told him that we will call him the following day maybe between 10-11AM to get his personal message for Inay. 
• We had the dilemma of who will bring Inay to the venue of the surprise party. 

Option #1: Linda

Melai: O Linda, kaw na lng magdala kay Inay sa venue ha... AR mo na yan... Parang sabihin mo na lng na samahan ka sa meeting.. 

Linda: Naku.. Hindi maniniwala si Inay nun... 

Melai: Bakit naman? 

Linda: Alam ni Inay na kaya ko pumunta ng meeting ng mag-isa... 

Melai: Naku! OO nga pla...

(Si Tsang Bhetty ang last option... AR ni Alex na sabihin kay Tsang ang plan at si Tsang na ang bahala kung pano nya dadalhin si Inay sa rm 207) 

• Dahil ang AR na napunta sa 'kin ay ang presentation... Well, kailangan kong i-check kung ano ang pede kong gawing theme.. Nagsend ako ng email sa sangkatauhan para sa mga birthday messages nila para kay Inay. Kinausap ko din si Chai para sya magsend ng email dun sa ibang mga "anak" ni Inay na hindi na namin kasama sa office ngaun... 
• Nagcheck kung anong cake ang pede order-in...
• Nag-decide na gawin na lng ung "Surprise" ng 10AM since ang alam namin eh magpapakain si Inay ng pandesal at pansit sa hapon dahil sya ang nanalo as "Best Stretching Leader for Q1"...  

April 22 PM:

• Si Ate Luz ang namahala sa "gift" namin kay Inay.. 
• Nagpunta sina Linda sa cafeteria sa baba para magpareserve ng cake.. 3 initially ung plan namin... Then bili na lng ng Burger McDo ng mga 9AM ng Friday... 
• Bumili na rin sina Linda ng drinks at itinago nila sa drawer ni Gerley...
• Nagdownload ako ng mga clip-arts na gagamitin ko para sa Powerpoint ng messages.. 
• Nag-ask ako ng help kay Ate Chai sa song na gagamitin for the presentation.. Nakinig-kinig ng konti and then nag-decide na ung "Fireflies" na lng ang gamitin para medyo masaya naman ung beat at hindi masyadong nakakaiyak... Hehehehe... 
• Sinave ni Kuya Rey ung ibang mga pics ni Inay sa shared drive... konti lng kasi ung napili kong photos... 
• Tinanong ko si Jinggay kung anong ginagamit nya pag gumagawa sya nung parang MTV... sabi nya Moviemaker daw... So chineck ko kung meron ako sa laptop... Meron! Later ko na lng cguro kakapain kung pano ang pede kong gawin... 
• We still want to bring flowers din... Kaya lng wala naman malapit na flowr shop sa min... so ang sabi ni Linda... "Check ko kung meron ako makita... pero pag wala... okay na din..."
• Uwian na..
• Medyo late na ko nakapag-start gumawa nung MTV para kay Inay... Nanibago ako ng konti kasi first time kong gumamit ng Moviemaker... pero okay lng naman din... prang same lng din dun sa dating gamit ko na Photo Story... Medyo nahirapan ako kung pano ko igu-group ung mga photos... nakatatlong ulit ata ako kasi nagha-hang ung mga ginagawa ko for some reason... tapos... naisip ko ung final na pede kong i-group ung mga pics... un na ung last na nagawa ko at successful naman dahil na-save ko din sa wakas... 
• Ung sa templates na ginamit ko sa presentation.. medyo nahirapan ako kung pano ko ipe-present... ung mga clip-art's icon na na-download ko ay related sa occasion at sa mga hilig ni inay, tulad ng bday, party, strawberry, coffee at kung anu-ano pa.. Eto ung final na naisip kong cover at template style. 

APRIL 23 - Birthday na ni Inay!!!

Melai: Oo nga 'no... Kaya lng ang awkward naman kung hindi natin sya batiin eh dinig natin na may nag-greet na sa kanya.. 

Addie: Oo nga.. Greet na natin... 

(Inay and Buddy dumating na sa table to join Melai, Addie and Linda. Gin-greet si Inay para di obvious.. )
